Riverina, Castle Hill and Camden
WOW what a busy month with our Team starting to really fire. Sara has The Team looking superb and we are making sure that the horses are jumping some really good clear rounds with lots of placing.
We would like to thank the committee of The Riverina Showjumping Spectacular for making us very welcome at their recent show. Our major sponsor, Southern Cross Horse Transport were also a major sponsor for this event.
It also saw the debut of a new horse to our Team, Twins Santorini or Santo as he is known. This young D-Grader is an absolute gentleman and gives Danni an uncomplicated and straight forward ride.
We had some good results with Ricky placing 2nd in the C & D Grade, Metal 2nd in the Young Rider Final. Bubbles, Lucy and Santorini all jumped some very good double clear rounds, with Bubbles placing on two occasions.
We then moved to Castle Hill Show which again saw the team jumping some great double clear rounds. Highlights were Metal placing second in the 1.20 Young Riders and Lucy 4th in a very competitive D grade.
Camden was the following week, with some more good results. Metal finished 5th in the 1.30m Class and Ricky jumped clear in the D-grade and finished 4th in the 1.10m class.
Danni is heading to Victoria with Sara to jump the Final of The Young Rider Ammo Shoot out. Danni will be taking Jane as her young rider mount and Santo is coming along for some experience. We wish them all the best of luck.
We would also like to congratulate Julia Hargraves who finished equal second in the NZ horse of the Year contest. Well done Julia from The Twins Team.
After Danni and Sara get back from Melbourne it’s straight into Sydney Royal. We have three horses in: Greer riding Flowervale Concorde in the Young Riders, and Danni riding Jane in Young Riders and Sue in Section 2 and The World Cup.
And finally we have some very exciting news, Magic our Daschund has had 5 puppies. Tommy was not the father although he tried very hard! We still have a couple of puppies left, so if anyone would like to purchase one please let us know.
