Toowoomba, Magic Millions, Caboolture and Gawler

Most of august was spent competing and training. We sent the team up to Toowoomba World Cup, where our main sponsor, Southern Cross Horse Transport, was also a sponsor. They sponsored the amateur classes for the weekend, which drew a very good entry.

All the team jumped well with Twins Quantum jumping very well in the young rider selection series to secure second ranking overall. Once again the whole team jumped very well with good double clear rounds and placings.

Back home for a week to train then back up to Queensland with the team splitting up. We sent Sara and Greer to the Magic Millions sale on the Gold Coast, while Danielle was up at Caboolture with Jason. Twins Limerick and Twins Lovesong jumped superbly to make the finals of the d-grade championship. We were so proud of them both as this was their first time jumping indoors.

From the Magic Millions sale we had to say goodbye to Flowervale Concorde and hello to Paparazzi. Paparazzi is a dressage school master who will help Greer in her training.

We were also on the look out for a new ride for Greer and are pleased to announce that we have purchased a new horse for her. She is training with him at George’s before she rides him competition.

The team were then off to South Australia to do the Gawler show, Adelaide Royal and Metro. Danni had five horses at Gawler and was placed 3rd and fourth on Twins Limerick and Twins Lovesong in the d-grade. Not to be outdone Twins Quantum came out and jumped a super mini- prix to finish 3rd. This was the biggest Quantum had jumped so we very proud him.

The team then spent the week training at Mallalla equestrian centre before heading off to Adelaide
